Connect your own assistant

What the connection can do

Search and read tasks, notes, checklists, journal entries, meetings, appointments, and calendar events in one workspace you choose. Your assistant can also add new records, update existing ones, complete tasks, and archive supported records.

Privacy boundary: approved repository reads can include the full content of those records, including descriptions, note bodies, attendees, and history stored on the record. The assistant cannot access another workspace, change account settings, share content, invite people, send messages, permanently delete records, or change an outside calendar.

Connection address

When your provider asks for a remote MCP server URL, use:

ADHD Notes will ask you to sign in, pick one workspace, and approve read, create, and organize permissions. Existing connections stay create-only until you reconnect and approve the expanded access. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.

OpenAI controls plugin availability, plan eligibility, workspace permissions, and any provider charges.

Anthropic controls which paid plans and organization policies allow custom integrations.

Google currently limits custom connected apps by account type, age, language, region, and Gemini Apps Activity settings.

Microsoft Copilot Studio access and organization approval may be required. Consumer Microsoft Copilot is not the same connection surface.

Safety and cost controls

• Every item is bound to your account and the one workspace you approved.
• Search results and date ranges are bounded, and every update must identify one record.
• Safe retries reuse an idempotency key instead of creating a duplicate.
• ADHD Notes applies a monthly account limit and records a content-free audit outcome.
• Provider subscription or usage charges, if any, are separate from ADHD Notes.
